Sip, relax, repeat.

Rosé has one job: to please the crowd. Well, consider it done with Sirena del Mare, a light, adventurous Rosé from Northern Italy. This charming pink wine blends two infamous grapes: Merlot and Sangiovese, Tuscany’s gem. Indeed, Sangiovese has quite the reputation; it’s known for making some of the most distinguished red wines in the world.

It’s a bold statement, we know. Sangiovese is famous for occasionally revealing a whiff of Italy’s signature herbs: oregano, thyme, basil, and parsley. These savory notes do an elegant dance with fruity, mellow Merlot to make a dry, easy-drinking Rosé, a genius move on part of the winemakers of Northern Italy.

The kind of Rosé you take home to mom.

This wine is made for lighthearted conversation, casual bites with friends, neighbors, and of course, mom. Just like these people in your life, this rosé is a reliable go-to. It will never let you down. And in return, you might have trouble putting Sirena del Mare down.

Pair Sirena del Mare with an impromptu charcuterie board, barbeque, hummus, or herb-crusted salmon. Or enjoy a glass on its own in the afternoon over a good book.

Want to know the secret behind the swirl?

When you swirl this glass of wine you release a bunch of chemical compounds — called esters — that you can actually smell and taste. You might recognize the very aromas in your glass from other foods — that’s because they’re in there, too! What’s even cooler... those flavors didn’t get there by adding anything to the wine. They developed during the fermentation all on their own.

This Rosé is perfect for practicing smelling those aromas. Give your glass a swirl and see if you can smell cherry, strawberries, and maybe even Herbs de Provence.
